Bout to call your a** an Uber, I got somewhere to be. 4 Alternative ways to catch an Uber.

Long gone are the days of traditional taxis. Yes, those days disappeared years ago but UBER is out here revolutionizing transportation. In El Salvador, I wanted to go to the beach. However, when I opened the app to request a ride, I was so shocked because I has never heard of UberMoto. But it got me thinking, In London, I rode on an Uber Boat, and social media is seen in NY they have Uber Helicopter. How many alternative ways to get around via Uber are there? And where are they located? Because I must say riding on a motorcycle for 40 minutes to the beach for $7 was more exciting than paying $23 to be stuck in traffic in the back seat.

UberMoto:

"UberMOTO" is another option on the Uber app, and it operates just like its traditional car services. Prevalent in Latin American and European Countries like Paris and Italy, this option has become very popular. Each motorcycle driver will have to pass the same background checks as car chauffeurs and will be obliged to provide helmets for their passengers. The perk of uber moto is the bikes are abler to maneuver through the traffic, navigating narrow lanes easily, and saving you time. Because this option only allows for 1 passenger, if you are a solo traveler this will greatly cut your costs. While it is a little scary, if the weather is nice- the views are amazing.

UberBoat

In London and I just learned Mykonos. Contrary to the name Uber Boat does not mean your own boat on demand. It’s a partnership between Thames Clippers, London’s commuter ferry service, and Uber. Launching from 23 piers along the Thames, the Uber Boat system covers three zones: West, Central, and East. All of these cover the tourist attractions many would like to see while visiting London. The stops are also close to train stations so you can easily hop off and on the train if the boat isn't doing it for it. If you pick the Uber Boat option: You don’t actually need the Uber app to ride. Passengers can still buy tickets using the Thames Clippers’ existing platforms, website, and app, at ticket counters and machines, or using an Oyster card or contactless payment at the turnstiles.

In Mykonos, UBERBoat is a little different. You can book a ride through the app, just as you would book a ride in a car. A few stipulations exist: You will need to reserve a boat at least 45 minutes ahead of time, and they can only be picked up or dropped off at 25 designated sites around the island. The boats hold up to eight passengers. While only available from now until October, Uber is hoping to unveil UberBoat in other European countries.

Uber Copter - I haven't ridden in one yet but I will when I go visit lol

Uber Copter is available for booking Monday through Friday from 2-6 pm ET, for trips between Manhattan and JFK International Airport. However, from my research, the helicopter options are a little pricey. And the Uber Copter is not a private trip. One will be catching the copter with other passengers plus you can only bring one personal item one piece of luggage, which could prove an issue for many (they are going to an international airport after all). Now for me who only travels with a purse and a carry-on that's not an issue. However, when you book a helicopter ride with Uber, you are also booking regular Uber rides to the departure helipad and from the helipad to the airport terminal.

UberAUTO Rickshaws (India)

Uber launched an option to hail rickshaws (or “autos”) in New Delhi, which allows cash payments in the country for hailing a ride. The service works just like hailing any other kind of Uber vehicle. Users open the app, select UberAuto from the options, and wait for a driver to confirm. Customers can hail autos even when there is no credit in their Paytm wallet — the payment service that Uber integrated in India — since the focus is on cash.
